San Antonio’s Juneteenth Commissioner Byron E. Miller sits with a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. at Miller Child Development Center on Monday, June 15, 2020. On the wall behind him is a portrait of his mother, educator Hazel T. Miller. The center was founded by his parents and it was named after her. He’s now the CEO of the center.
